About the Position:

The search is on for a Project Manager to join XYPN’s growing team! This is a full-time position designed for a self-motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented individual who also happens to be a multitasking guru. In your role as Project Manager, you’ll build and maintain lasting relationships with team members and vendors, and plan, lead, and deliver complex projects and programs through all phases of the project lifecycle. With every task you meticulously cross off your to-do list, you’ll have an eye towards XYPN’s strategy, vision, and core values. This brand new role is an opportunity to help us build XYPN’s Project Management Center of Excellence from the ground up. The goal? To support an environment of continuous improvement through a standardized project deployment approach.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leverage standard project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects and programs are aligned with XYPN’s strategic objectives, and are on time, on budget, and of the highest quality
  • Develop and actively maintain larger-scale complex strategic and tactical projects, plans, programs, budgets, schedules, KPIs/ metrics, and appropriate controlling artifacts to ensure progress reporting and communication meet stakeholder expectations
  • Define project/program scope, objectives, and governance structure; you’ll identify, quantify, gain approval for, and communicate scope, schedule, and budget
  • When it comes to the management of projects and programs, you’ll run the show from ideation to implementation
  • Facilitate large cross-functional project teams and manage project performance
  • Apply resource analysis/allocation and provide technical and analytical guidance to ensure every project team is operating efficiently on the regular
  • Team up with business or operational sponsors and executive sponsors to lead projects and programs and to guide decisions of all aspects of planning, delivery, and close for projects/sub-projects
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
  • Lead project meetings and take ownership of project tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Offer basic project management training to team leads and department leads to support non-cross-functional projects

Start Date: Immediately

Status: Full-time (40-45 hours/week)

Location: Bozeman, MT(ability to work virtually until coronavirus restrictions are lifted and we reopen our office)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $70,886/ year
  • All team members at XYPN are owners! We annually contribute an equivalent of 8% of your compensation into our ESOP as part your benefit
