About XY Investment Solutions

XY Investment Solutions (XYIS) is an SEC-registered investment advisor that provides investment management solutions to RIAs focused on financial planning. Our solutions range from support services for third-party technology platforms, like Orion, to a full-service TAMP with investment strategies and back-office support, and are designed to serve the unique needs of growing independent advisory firms serving Gen X and Gen Y clients.


As a full-service TAMP, XYIS manages model portfolios on a discretionary basis utilizing mutual funds and ETFs. Additionally, XYIS provides guidance on selecting models, but ultimately, advisors are responsible for selecting the investment model for each of their clients being managed on the XYIS platform. Back-office support for onboarding clients and reporting is also provided.


Portfolio management and subadvisor services are offered through XY Investment Solutions (XYIS), a Securities Exchange Commission registered investment advisor based in Bozeman, MT. XYIS and its representatives are in compliance with the current filing requirements imposed upon Securities Exchange Commission registered investment advisors by those states in which XYIS maintains clients. About the Position:

Here at XYIS, we’re on a mission to help advisors make investment management a successful part of their businesses. As a champion of that mission, you’ll work within our TAMP and Platform services team to support our advisor members with their account management needs. To shine in this client-facing role, you’ll need to be process-oriented and have a passion for engaging with advisors. You’ll also need to have an understanding of the Orion platform or be a quick study. We’re looking for someone who can seamlessly engage people of all personality types, pivot their approach for different audiences, and communicate a broad range of ideas and instructions. This position is located in Bozeman, MT and will report directly to the Managing Director of XY Investment Solutions.


What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to and solve account service requests (with a smile!) for XYIS advisors using our TAMP service and Orion Essentials service.
  • Execute monthly/quarterly billing and performance reporting processes

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Salary: $53,164

      Requirements

      What You’ll Bring to the Table:
      Must Haves:

      • Authorized to live and work in the United States
      • 1–3 years of experience working at an RIA in one or more of the following departments:
        • Portfolio Management
        • Trading Operations
        • Client Services
        • Compliance
        • Technology
      • Understanding of financial planning and/or investment management processes
      • Understanding of RIA compliance procedures
      • Experience using Orion or other portfolio accounting softwares such as Black Diamond, Tamarac, Morningstar or Advyzon
      • A strong desire to advance your knowledge of investment management
      • If you have transferable skills from other industries, you’ll be asked to participate in the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program


      What Would Make Us Drool:
