About the Position:
As one of the friendly and energetic Business Development Specialists on our team, you will have a passion for helping us grow XY Planning Network! Some of the primary things you’ll be doing regularly include working with inbound marketing leads via email and meeting daily phone meeting targets to ensure speedy responses to curious XYPN members. Additionally, you’ll be following up with internal resources, taking responsibility for tracking and proactively following up with existing leads in the pipeline, helping develop exciting new initiatives to generate leads, scheduling (fun!) networking events, and meticulously tracking data
What You’ll Be Doing:
Gain expertise within XYPN’s Service Lines to recognize interest from prospective members
Start Date: Immediately
Status: Full-time (40-45 hours/week)
Location: Bozeman, MT(ability to work virtually until coronavirus restrictions are lifted and we reopen our office)

Comfortable and adept at working in a partially virtual environment
Ability to speak comfortably and confidently, both face-to-face at conferences and over the phone
Excellent writing skills and the ability to convey a positive tone through email
Familiarity with working within HubSpot is a plus but not required
Ability to manage sales data reporting, including tracking and reporting via spreadsheets and our CRM software (you’re the master of ensuring nothing falls through the cracks!)
What Would Make Us Drool
BA/BS or similar degree in an applicable field or relevant experience
Previous retail or outbound telephone sales experience preferred, but not required
Background in the personal finance or financial advisor facing topics
Experience attending industry conferences and talking with prospects
Prior customer-facing sales experience
Previous conference or trade show experience
You could sell stripes to a zebra, spots to a cow, or apples to an orchard!
