About the Position:

XY Planning Network is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance Team. This is a full-time position for a self-motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented individual with a deep appreciation for numbers. Some people dream in color—you dream in numbers, and wake up well-rested! As a superstar manager on XYPN’s Finance Team, you’ll take center stage and be integral in helping manage all the financial aspects of a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. You’ll manage all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, billing, deposit reconciliation, month-end close processes, and more, all in a good day’s work. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Take the lead and manage new member onboarding and setup of recurring billing subscriptions
  • Ensure monthly membership billing is executed properly and reconcile active subscriptions to our CRM for accuracy and completeness
  • Seal the deal and finalize monthly add-on billing data for each member benefit
  • Reconcile monthly billings to cash receipts
  • Work in harmony with our Member Experience Team to resolve any member billing issues
  • Process monthly employee expense reports and ensure compliance with expense policies and procedures
  • Process accounts payable, ensure proper authorization and account coding, and manage vendor communications
  • Manage and complete monthly and annual closing procedures
  • Masterfully prepare departmental and consolidated monthly financial reports
  • Get in the game and assist with financial projections for all departments and service lines
  • Monitor daily banking activity with an eagle eye and assist with the preparation of cash flow projections
  • Offer a helping hand in the development and implementation of internal accounting controls
  • Generously lend your talents to other major projects (like software transitions)
  • Support the Director of Finance as necessary with other accounting functions

Location: Bozeman, MT(ability to work virtually until coronavirus restrictions are lifted and we reopen our office)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $70,886/ year
  • All team members at XYPN are owners! We annually contribute an equivalent of 8% of your compensation into our ESOP as part your benefit

    • You have strong technical skills; this includes the ability to learn new software programs, create and manipulate reports, and perform database maintenance (huge props for experience with G-suite, QuickBooks Online, Concur, Slack, and Monday.com)

    What Would Make Us Drool

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related program
    • CPA or CPA-candidate
    • 5+ years of experience in private/public accounting
    • Experience (and a passion for) preparing financial statements
    • An appreciation for Smash Mouth
