Job Description: 

We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented COO/Integrator who can take responsibility as a Senior Executive in XY Planning Network and help us scale through the next stage of growth (the path from ~50 to 250 employees). Our co-founders, Alan and Michael, both serve as long-term visionaries of the company, but as Thomas Edison said, ultimately “vision without execution is hallucination”. We need a leader who is skilled at taking the strategic plan of the company, and converting it to execution with the available resources. 

This dedicated leader will develop and maintain control of all business operations, and will be an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. 

In addition, the right candidate will have an instinctive ability to recognize, retain, develop, and respect the talent within the organization, and help guide team members to reach their full potential through support and mentorship. 


  • Oversee daily operations, and lead the implementation of our EOS tools to ensure the organization is consistently “rowing” together in the same direction
  • Responsible for executing the strategic business plan, and achieving or exceeding established P&L objectives
  • Collaborate and stay on the same page with the co-founders who serve as the visionaries of the company
  • Filters and translates the CEO’s ideas into functional plans for the company
  • Assists in developing comprehensive goals for performance and growth strategies 
  • Effectively problem-solve and resolve issues that arise anywhere in the company - must be comfortable with conflict, addressing issues, and solving problems in a practical and healthy manner in a rapidly growing business
  • Identify areas of opportunities for capital improvements across the organization, including opportunities to improve revenue, increase margin, reduce cost, and increase profitability throughout the organization, all while improving efficiency 
  • Attract, retain, and develop a team of high-performing leaders
  • Lead, manage, and hold direct reports accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments
  • Oversee the cultivation and management of healthy relationships with strategic partners and vendors
  • Consistently demonstrates a passion for values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity across the organization


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven results as an Integrator, Chief Operating Officer, or a similarly relevant role 
  • Experience building high-performing teams, including the ability to recognize and cultivate rising talent 
  • Adept at transitioning seamlessly from taking strategic-level vision input and applying it to day-to-day tactical operations
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • A demonstrated execution mindset, and a record of success holding people accountable
  • Understanding of and ability to create healthy organizational culture
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Varied experiences and responsibilities in Operations, Finance, and Human Resources 
  • Advanced degree, MBA or similar

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $125,000.00 / year

  • Relocation assistance available, if applicable

  • 401K (4.5% match on 6% contribution)

  • Open vacation policy (Required to take a minimum of 3 weeks per year)
